Lemoncito

Lemon yellow ripe
Curly comes squeezing and learns
Life is sometimes sour

Should not your piety be your confidence and your blameless ways your hope? Job 4:6

Four of my grad school classmates and I gathered for tea to do some catching up. While we chatted about work highs and lows, our kids played in the garden. A few decorative lemons attracted this little guy. He decided to go experiment. Touch. Squeeze. Out comes the juice. He tasted his fingers, rubbed them on his chubby butt and ambled to a nearby fountain.
