>The Christmas Song – Lettermen

>We normally have no open fire in our side of the globe, but I love what this song is about anyway. To me it captures the spirit of christmas so beautifully. It also brings back happy memories of the holidays at home. The uploader commented, “listen to the acapella beginning and ending. Absolutely sublime! The backing throughout the track is deliberately minimal and the overall effect is just stunning!”

I love the way christian culture is pictured in these lines:

“Yuletide carols being sung by a choir … Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow… And so I’m offering this simple phrase, To kids from one to ninety-two, Although its been said many times, many ways, A very Merry Christmas to you”
